GREE Opens Its First Showroom in Bangkok, Strengthening Its Presence in Thailand’s Air Conditioning Market
Bangkok, March 8, 2026 — GREE, one of the world’s leading air conditioning manufacturers, continues to expand its presence in Thailand with the official launch of the GREE Thailand Cooling Experience Center, its first showroom and cooling technology experience center in Bangkok. The center is operated through its authorized distributor, TTSK Co., Ltd., with the aim of strengthening customer engagement and enhancing business partnerships in Thailand’s rapidly growing air conditioning market, as well as across Southeast Asia.
Located at 572 Rama 2 Road, Samae Dam, Bang Khun Thian, Bangkok, the new center is designed to be more than just a product showroom. It serves as an interactive space for learning and experiencing advanced cooling technologies, where customers, contractors, engineers, and industry partners can explore the latest air conditioning innovations while exchanging knowledge on cooling solutions tailored to Thailand’s tropical climate.
The opening of this experience center reflects Thailand’s strategic importance within GREE’s Southeast Asian expansion. Thailand remains one of the region’s fastest-growing air conditioning markets, driven by urbanization, real estate development, growth in hospitality and commercial infrastructure, and the country’s year-round hot climate. As a result, air conditioning has become an essential part of daily life for both residential and commercial users.
At the same time, consumer behavior is evolving, with increasing focus on energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and product durability. Industry data shows that nearly 47% of consumers consider air filtration systems an important factor when purchasing an air conditioner, reflecting the growing awareness of health and indoor air quality, especially in urban environments.
Jared Yang, President of GREE ELECTRIC APPLIANCES (THAILAND) CO., LTD., stated that Thailand plays a vital role in GREE’s expansion strategy across Southeast Asia. The launch of this experience center marks another important milestone in bringing the company’s world-class cooling technologies closer to the Thai market.
“We hope this center will become a place where customers and industry partners can experience GREE’s air conditioning technologies firsthand, while learning about solutions specifically designed for Thailand’s tropical climate,” said Jared Yang.
GREE is currently ranked as the world’s No.1 residential air conditioning brand in 2024, with operations in more than 190 countries worldwide, supported by 77 manufacturing bases across China and overseas, and backed by more than 130,000 technology patents.
The new experience center showcases a comprehensive range of cooling solutions, covering residential air conditioners, commercial and industrial HVAC systems, as well as appliances related to indoor air quality improvement. The facility also includes product demonstration zones, training rooms for technicians, and application simulation areas designed to showcase different cooling scenarios.
One of the key highlights is the GREE Airy Series, GREE’s premium smart air conditioning series specifically designed for tropical climates. Equipped with an intelligent inverter control system, Airy automatically adjusts its performance based on user behavior and environmental conditions to maximize energy efficiency while maintaining optimal indoor comfort.
The system also features advanced airflow technology for longer air distribution distance, along with humidity control functions that help create a more comfortable indoor environment in Thailand’s high-humidity climate. In addition, its multi-layer air purification system helps improve indoor air quality for healthier living spaces.
Beyond product innovation, GREE places strong emphasis on professional installation and long-term service support through its collaboration with TTSK Co., Ltd.. The company provides end-to-end services, ranging from system design and professional installation to comprehensive after-sales support. TTSK has already delivered cooling solutions for numerous large-scale projects in Thailand, including hotels, shopping centers, retail businesses, and industrial facilities.
Wu Fan, Chief Executive Officer of TTSK Co., Ltd., stated that the opening of the GREE Thailand Cooling Experience Center marks another significant step in connecting GREE’s global technologies with the Thai market.
“This center will help customers and industry partners gain a deeper understanding of GREE’s technology standards and serve as an important platform to support the future growth of Thailand’s cooling industry and real estate sector,” said Wu Fan.
Looking ahead, GREE plans to continue expanding its investments in Thailand, focusing on the development of energy-efficient, durable, and tropical-climate-optimized air conditioning technologies. Through continuous innovation and long-term collaboration with local partners, the company aims to elevate cooling standards and contribute to sustainable growth in Thailand’s air conditioning market.
